The Four Pillars of YL – People

Every organization has core values that drive the heart of their business. Throughout this series you will learn about the four pillars of Yerecic Label; consumer research, technology, lean manufacturing and people.

Yerecic Label is proud that our team’s average tenure is over 10 years which is more than double the 2020 reported average of 4.1 years from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.  In this installment, we will be focusing on the pillar of our valued team members and the important YL initiatives that are focused on supporting our team members and community.

Cellular Concept

Our office team members are paired up in a cell to better serve our customers with three members; a Key Account Manager, a Sales Coordinator and a Graphic Designer. A cellular office structure creates a zone of responsibility while promoting increased efficiencies and reduced waste. It also allows our team to accommodate rush orders with efficiency.

Our production team members also work in cellular teams consisting of an operator, helper and finisher. YL believes in a promote from within culture which means almost every team member starts as a finisher and as they learn more they are given promotion opportunities.

Food Safety

One of the ways that Yerecic Label makes sure that we keep our facility and products safe is by being certified to Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Standard by SQF. The GSFI is a global food network consisting of hundreds of retailers and manufacturers across the world. The organization has determined the set of requirements essential to good food safety management systems. The GFSI then benchmarks food safety standards that meet those said requirements.

Support of Armed Forces

Yerecic Label’s founder, Arthur M. Yerecic Sr., served as marine in the Korean War and as an organization we have always felt strongly that it is our responsibility to support our service men and women during their training and deployment.

Yerecic Label was honored to be one of fifteen organizations awarded the 2010 Secretary of Defense’s Employer Support Freedom Award for exemplary support of our team members in the armed forces.  The Freedom Award is the highest recognition given to employers for their support of their employees who also serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
