Sue Yerecic

 

Sue and her high school sweetheart, Art began dating when Yerecic Label was still in its infancy in the Yerecic family home in Penn Hills.  As YL grew, Sue was always willing to pitch in and help.  She learned how to run a slitter rewinder and operate the platemaker during those early years.  Many evenings and weekends included work serving Yerecic Label customers.

After Sue and Art married, Sue produced payroll for Yerecic Label for almost two decades while raising the Yerecic family as a stay-at-home Mom.  She even did payroll in the hospital following the birth of one of their children!

Sue’s faith in the future of YL never waivered. She signed on for every new equipment purchase and location expansion, fully taking every shared financial risk to grow the company.

One of Sue’s most noteworthy achievements was helping YL get traction at the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute in the early 2000s.  She and Art knew virtually no one at the first event they attended in 2001.  Sue helped build relationships with many TLMI members and helped substantially increase Yerecic Label’s opportunities at this leading industry organization.

A founding member of the Yerecic Label Board of Directors, Sue continues to serve today.  Her daily conversations with Art about the business and YL team members keep her very close to our team and the work of our business.

Sue and Art achieved their goal of generational ownership transfer of Yerecic Label in 2023.  They are the proud parents of seven children and twelve grandchildren.
